Lynn and Thomas — 2023 Highlights
Puzzled by our puzzle? Finding yourself cross at our crossword? Drop us a line for a clue!
2023 has been a tough year of personal and family health challenges, work challenges, and the losses of Thomas’ beloved mother and aunt. Despite this, they’ve made limoncello from the lemons with the help of their friends, family, and each other. They couldn’t have made it through the hard times without the good times, only some of which are shown below.
January
February

Thomas enjoys working from home in Austin where he, once again, is snowed into the state of Texas. Lynn realizes that the best way to get a good workout in before a trial day is to enter a morning
swim meet.
March

Lynn and Thomas attend the firm retreat and took a
painting by the sea class. Thomas’s artwork proves he is a skilled scientist.
April

Lynn and Thomas attend Masters nationals in Irvine. Thomas once again takes his hobby of taking pictures at swim meets far, far too seriously over at
@mastersportscameraguy.
May

Lynn and Thomas attend the home-opener of the
Los Angeles Sparks and enjoy the culinary genius of the Staples Center.
June
July

Lynn swims
17 kilometers in the Willamette River passing under
all 12 bridges in the city of Portland. She completes the distance so quickly that Thomas and his college roommate don’t even have time to go visit the submarine museum. She also becomes the USMS Long Distance National Champion.
August
September

Thomas continues his efforts to turn his otherwise-esteemed law firm into some sort of
mad-scientist lair. Actual architects are involved.
October

Lynn and Thomas headed back to Houston to have fajitas, margaritas, and attend a baby shower at the world’s
worst bar with the world’s best people.
November

Lynn and Thomas’
niece give them fancy hair styles during a family day at the park.
December (so far)

Lynn and Thomas rigorously test and re-test to
guarantee the quality of this year's holiday drink list.
